Easypaisa denies 2% service fee on wallet transfers

August 11, 2026 (MLN): Easypaisa has rejected reports claiming that it has introduced a 2% service charge on transfers made from bank accounts to Easypaisa wallets, terming the information false and misleading.

The company clarified that customers will continue to receive money in their Easypaisa accounts without any charges. Transfers into Easypaisa wallets remain free, and no 2% fee has been introduced on incoming bank-to-wallet transactions, according to sources.

The clarification came after claims circulated on social media alleging that Easypaisa had started charging customers 2% when transferring funds from bank accounts to their Easypaisa wallets.

Easypaisa advised customers to verify information related to pricing and fees through its official channels before sharing or acting on such claims.
