August 18, 2025 (MLN): Dubai International Chamber, one of the three chambers under Dubai Chambers, successfully attracted 143 companies to Dubai during the first half of 2025, representing a 138% increase compared to 60 companies in the same period last year.

This included 31 multinational companies (MNCs), up from 13 in H1 2024, and 112 small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), compared to 47 in H1 2024.

Sultan Ahmed bin Sulayem, Chairman of Dubai International Chamber, said the progress consolidates Dubai’s position as a global destination for foreign direct investment and a launchpad for companies targeting international growth.

He highlighted Dubai’s world-class infrastructure, pro-business regulatory environment, and strategic location as key competitive advantages.

The chamber’s global network of representative offices continues to attract entrepreneurs, investors, and multinational companies, as APP reported.

It also strengthens trade and investment ties with priority markets and fosters partnerships between Dubai-based companies and their international counterparts.

During H1 2025, the Chamber expanded its international presence with five new offices in Dhaka (Bangladesh), Cape Town (South Africa), Bengaluru (India), Bangkok (Thailand), and Toronto (Canada).

Its representative offices organized 247 business roundtables to promote Dubai as a global business hub, attract foreign direct investment, and position the emirate as a launchpad for global market expansion.

The international network serves as a strategic platform linking Dubai with global business communities, facilitating two-way investment flows, unlocking new bilateral trade channels, and helping companies leverage Dubai as a gateway to the world.

The offices also provide market intelligence and tailored support for international companies seeking to establish a presence in the emirate and scale into high-potential global markets.
