Crescent Star plans acquisition of SG Power Ltd

August 13, 2025 (MLN): Crescent Star Insurance Limited (PSX:CSIL), to acquire 6,785,236 ordinary shares and control of SG Power Limited, has submitted its intention through Intermarket Securities Limited, exceeding the thresholds prescribed under Section 111 of the Securities Act, 2015.

The aforementioned information was disseminated through a notification to Exchange.

CSIL was incorporated in Pakistan as a Public Limited Company in the year 1957 under the Companies Act, 1913 (now the Companies Act, 2017).

The Company is engaged in providing non-life general insurance services mainly in spheres of Fire and property damage, Marine, aviation and transport, Motor, Credit & suretyship, Accident & health and Miscellaneous.
