Cordoba Logistics restructures loan, doubles CFSL investment limit to Rs2bn

October 07, 2026 (MLN): The Board of Directors of Cordoba Logistics & Ventures Limited (PSX: CLVL) has approved amendments to the loan agreement with shareholder and lender Mr. Danish Elahi, including the restructuring of repayment of the loan along with accrued mark-up.

The restructuring has been ratified with effect from June 30, 2026, with the amount payable to the sponsor either in cash or through conversion into equity, at the company's discretion.

The board further approved that no interest, mark-up, profit or other return shall accrue or become payable by the company on the restructured sponsor's loan from June 30, 2026.

Meanwhile, the board approved increasing the investment limit in its subsidiary Cordoba Financial Services Limited (formerly Cordoba Leasing Limited) from Rs1bn to Rs2bn, subject to members' approval and compliance with applicable law.

The increased limit will also cover corporate guarantees furnished on behalf of CFSL for financing obtained or to be obtained from banks and financial institutions, with the company's aggregate outstanding exposure under loans, advances and corporate guarantees capped at Rs2bn.
