China vows stronger global cooperation in manufacturing sector

September 22, 2025 (MLN): China has expressed readiness to enhance cooperation with global partners in the manufacturing sector, focusing on key areas such as technology, talent, data and green development.

The commitment was highlighted at the opening ceremony of the 2025 World Manufacturing Convention in Anhui Province, where senior Chinese political advisor Wang Yong, vice chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, stressed the importance of mutual benefit and win-win collaboration.

He noted that the convention has served as a platform in recent years to deepen practical cooperation and strengthen support for the growth of the global manufacturing industry.

Wang emphasized that in light of the ongoing scientific and technological revolution and industrial transformation, China seeks to work with all parties to achieve breakthroughs in core technologies and promote low-carbon, sustainable development.

The convention, themed “Intelligent Manufacturing for a Better Future,” runs from September 20 to 23 in Hefei, attracting more than 1,000 participants from over 40 countries and regions.
