Cherat Packaging commissions 2.7 MW solar plant

June 10, 2026 (MLN): Cherat Packaging Limited (PSX:CPPL) has commissioned a 2.7 MW solar power plant at its factory site in Gadoon Amazai, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

This would expand its solar capacity to 3.7 MW as the company moves to reduce energy costs and strengthen its environmental footprint.

The newly commissioned plant adds to an existing 1 MW solar installation already operational at the same facility.

Together, the two units form part of the company's broader push toward clean and renewable energy adoption.

The company said the expanded solar capacity will contribute to cost savings while supporting environmental sustainability through reduced reliance on conventional power sources.

The aforementioned information was disseminated through a notification to Exchange.
