Car sales rise 52% in November 2025

December 11, 2025 (MLN): The sales of cars, including LCVs, vans, and jeeps, in Pakistan increased by 51.9% in November 2025, clocking in at 15,442 units compared to 10,163 units recorded in the same month of last year, the latest data from the Pakistan Automotive Manufacturers Association (PAMA) showed today.

Conversely, on a month-on-month basis, auto sales have decreased by 10.9% compared to the 17,333 cars sold in October 2025.

Cumulatively, in 5MFY26, sales clocked in at 75,033 units, around 47.5% higher compared to 50,856 units sold in 5MFY25.

Overall, the automotive industry produced 166,149 units across all vehicle categories in November 2025, while sales reached 165,753 units for the month.

For the five-month period from July to November 2025, cumulative production stood at 766,251 units compared to 577,859 units during the same period last year, representing a substantial year-over-year increase of approximately 32.6%.

Toyota maintained its dominant position in the 1300cc and above category, producing 3,056 units of its Corolla, Yaris, and Corolla Cross models, with sales of 3,236 units in November 2025.

Honda produced 2,198 units of its City and Civic models in November, with sales of 2,359 units, showing strong consumer demand for the brand's offerings.

Suzuki continued its strong performance across multiple segments. The company produced 1,101 units of the Swift with sales of 1,367 units. In the below-1000cc segment, Suzuki Alto production reached 5,124 units with sales of 4,069 units for November.

The SUV and pickup segment showed healthy growth, with total production of 3,537 units and sales of 3,034 units in November.

Toyota's SUV lineup (Fortuner and IMVs) produced 1,311 units with sales of 1,107 units. Honda's BR-V and HR-V models showed steady performance, while newer entrants in the crossover segment continued to gain traction.

The trucks and buses segment produced 607 units in November with sales of 530 units. Leading manufacturers in this category include Hino, Isuzu, and JAC, catering to the logistics and transportation sectors.

The farm tractor segment showed robust performance with November production of 2,971 units and sales of 3,663 units, reflecting strong demand from the agricultural sector.

For the July-November period, total tractor production reached 9,860 units with sales of 9,530 units.
