February 14, 2026 (MLN): Lucky Motor Corporation (LMC) hosted a select group of customers and their families at its state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Bin Qasim Industrial Park, as part of Kia Experience Day.
This event offered participants a first-hand look at how vehicles are produced in Pakistan.
The initiative was designed to highlight the company’s manufacturing capabilities, quality standards, and disciplined production processes that underpin its operations.
The event also marked the first anniversary of the launch of the Kia Sportage L in the local market.

Visitors toured key sections of the plant, observing advanced operations such as coordinate measuring machine (CMM) inspections, robotic paint shop functions, vehicle assembly processes, and a driving session on the company’s dedicated test track.
Guests additionally witnessed in-house production of key components at LMC’s Auto Parts Facility, where modern technologies are used to manufacture seats, wiring harnesses, plastic injection-moulded parts, audio-video units, and air-conditioning systems.
These components are supplied both for internal use and to other original equipment manufacturers (OEMs).
Beyond automobiles, the facility also produces the complete range of Samsung-branded smartphones in Pakistan, reflecting the plant’s diversified manufacturing platform and partnerships with global brands.
LMC stated that it began exporting vehicles approximately eight months ago and has since shipped around 50 units, including the latest generation Sportage and Sorento, to several right-hand-drive markets.
The exports are expected to contribute to foreign exchange earnings while positioning Pakistan as a competitive player in the global automotive supply chain.
The company said its ambition is to become Pakistan’s largest exporter of four-wheel vehicles, signaling a strategic shift from domestic assembly toward international markets.
Kia Experience Day was described as part of ongoing efforts to build customer engagement while demonstrating Pakistan’s evolving industrial capabilities in advanced automotive manufacturing.
