BRRG reinstated in PSX-KMI All Share Islamic Index

July 16, 2026 (MLN): Pakistan Stock Exchange Limited (PSX) has revised the recomposition of the PSX-KMI All Share Islamic Index, reinstating B.R.R Guardian Limited (BRRG) as a Shariah-compliant company.

According to a notice issued by PSX, BRRG was earlier classified as Non-Compliant and included in the list of outgoing companies under the index recomposition announced through PSX Notice No. PSX/N-659 dated May 29, 2026.

The exchange stated that the classification has now been revised following the updated Shariah disclosure submitted by BRRG on June 12, 2026 through the Pakistan Unified Corporate Reporting System (PUCARS), subsequent to its earlier company announcement dated February 25, 2026.

After review and approval by the KMI Index Committee, BRRG has been reclassified as Shariah Compliant and reinstated in the PSX-KMI All Share Islamic Index with effect from July 16, 2026.

PSX clarified that all other contents of the original recomposition notice issued on May 29, 2026 will remain unchanged.
