Saudi Arabia have agreed to deepen cooperation in development planning and
explore new avenues of collaboration in economic development, investment,
education, technology and human resource development.

Economy and Planning, with a push to expand synergies between URAAN Pakistan
and Saudi Vision 2030 to open up opportunities for economic cooperation, human
resource development and greater private-sector engagement.
The understanding came
during a meeting in which Saudi Ambassador to Pakistan Dr Rajeh Tami Albugami
called on Federal Minister for Planning, Development and Special Initiatives
Professor Ahsan Iqbal, according to a press release issued.
Ahsan Iqbal said relations
between the two countries are rooted in shared faith, mutual trust and deep
affection between their peoples, and that turning this historic relationship
into sustainable partnerships in trade, investment, knowledge and technology
remains a shared priority.
He said sharing
experiences in development planning and successful policy reforms would help
advance the national development priorities of both countries.
Ahsan Iqbal said the aim
is to build a strong economic partnership on the foundations of Pakistan-Saudi
friendship, creating new opportunities for development and prosperity for the
people of both countries, particularly their youth.

countries and stressed the importance of strategic alignment, comprehensive
