Agritech urea plant operations to resume, gas supply restored

March 13, 2026 (MLN): Agritech Limited's (PSX:AGL) Urea plant is set to resume full operations following the restoration of Re-liquefied Natural Gas (RLNG) supply by Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (PSX:SNGP), bringing relief to the fertilizer manufacturer after a period of suspended production.

The aforementioned information was disseminated through a notification to Exchange.

Gas supply disruptions have been a persistent challenge for Pakistan's fertilizer sector, with urea manufacturers heavily dependent on an uninterrupted supply of natural gas as a primary feedstock for production.

Any halt in gas supply directly impacts production capacity and, consequently, the availability of urea fertilizer in the domestic market.
