May 4, 2026 (MLN): Attock Refinery Limited (ATRL) has resumed operations of its main crude distillation unit following the normalization of crude oil supply and product dispatches.

In a notification to the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the company confirmed that its primary unit, HBU-I, with a processing capacity of 32,400 barrels per stream day (BPSD), is now fully operational.

The restart comes after earlier disruptions highlighted in the company’s April 23 disclosure, which had pointed to challenges in crude receipts and logistics.

With tanker-based supply chains now stabilized, operations have been restored, signaling improved throughput and refinery utilization.

The development is expected to support refined product availability in the domestic market while easing operational pressures faced during the disruption period.
