AGL urea plant faces temporary shutdown

July 22, 2025 (MLN): Agritech Limited (PSX: AGL) has experienced a technical issue at its Urea Plant, necessitating an immediate shutdown. Repair work is estimated to take at least five days to complete.

During this period, production at the Urea Plant will remain suspended, the company's filing on PSX revealed today.

AGL was incorporated in Pakistan on 15 December 1959 as an unlisted Public Limited Company under the repealed Companies Act, 1913 (now the Companies Act, 2017).

The principal business of the Company is the production and sale of Urea and Granulated Single Super Phosphate fertilizer.
