2.9 million cotton bales reach ginneries across Pakistan

Oct 03, 2019 (MLN): Cotton bales equivalent to 2.9 million reached ginneries all over Pakistan as of October 01, 2019, resgistering a decline of 27.5 percent as compared to the corresponding period of last year
According to the data released by the Pakistan Cotton Ginners Association (PCGA), the cotton arrivals in Sindh for the week ended October 01, 2019 were recorded at 1.7 million, showing a decline of 20 percent as compared to same period pf last year.
On the other hand, the total arrivals in Punjab amounted to 1.2 million, i.e. nearly 36 percent lower as compared to last year
