13.6 million cotton bales reach ginneries across Pakistan

September 05, 2019 (MLN): Cotton bales equivalent to 1.4 million reached ginneries all over Pakistan as of September 03, 2019.

According to the data released by the Pakistan Cotton Ginners Association (PCGA), the cotton arrivals in Sindh for the week ended September 03, 2019 were recorded at 1 million, whereas the total arrivals in Punjab amounted to 0.4 million.

Total sold out bales were recorded at around 1.18 million, including over 1.15 million bought by textile mills and 24.3 thousand purchased by exporters

As many as 50.4 thousand bales were still lying with the ginneries as unsold stock.
