UAE firm to invest $15m in APG plant

December 08, 2021 (MLN): A United Arab Emirates firm Brothers Gas has announced investment to the tune of $15 million to setup Aerosol Propellant Gas (APG) plant in Pakistan, a government press release showed on Wednesday.

Brothers Gas UAE Managing Director Mr. Kashif Masood announced his plans to invest $15m in three phases while meeting with the Board of Investment (BoI) Chairman Farheena Mazhar on the sidelines of investment seminar at the Pakistan Pavilion, Dubai Expo.

The company will install an APG plant which will be manufacture the much-needed product within Pakistan instead of importing the same.

This project will also produce refrigerant gasses and ADNOC lubes for the first time in Pakistan.

Mr. Maqsood attended the seminar with his five-member team and confirmed their plan to set up a bottling plant at Special Economic Zone in Faisalabad.

The delegation shared that they will be investing in three phases, with an initial investment of $15m.

The first phase will include setting up a plant in M3 industrial area in Faisalabad which will serve the local market and facilitate export to neighboring markets from Pakistan. It will include industrial gases, with more than 1,000 products.
