SKRS Board authorizes Biomass Pellet Plant development

February 13, 2025 (MLN): The Board of Directors of Sakrand Sugar Mills Limited (PSX: SKRS), through a circular resolution dated February 13, 2025, has authorized the initiation of the development of a Biomass Pellet Plant.

This initiative is aimed at diversifying the company’s by-products, improving resource utilization, and increasing value for stakeholders, the company's filing on PSX revealed today.

The decision aligns with the company's broader growth strategy and commitment to sustainability.
