September 11, 2018 (MLN): Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah, on Monday, has stated that Sindh government will provide infrastructure facilities to the Russian investors interested in establishment of industries in different industrial zones in the province, while talking to Russian Consul General who called on him in Karachi on Monday, 10th September.

The Russian Consul General has assured that his country intends to strengthen the bilateral trade relations by extending all possible cooperation and support to the Sindh government.

Recently, both the countries agreed that Pakistani military officers will receive training in Russian Federation military institutes, indicating Pakistan’s increasing dependence on Russia for its military needs owing to the decision by US to stop financing military training for Pakistani soldiers.

“Both countries signed the Contract on Admission of Service Members of Pakistan in RF’s (Russian Federation) Training Institutes,” the defence ministry said in a statement.

The agreement was signed at the conclusion of the first meeting of Russia-Pakistan Joint Military Consultative Committee (JMCC), described by the defence ministry as the highest forum of defence collaboration between Pakistan and the Russian Federation.
