The PSX issued a notification on its website, informing that the SECP had granted the approval for the appointment of independent directors on the board of Pakistan Stock Exchange Limited for a term commenced from April 19, 2018.

The Seven directors who have been appointed are:

1. Mr. Shehzad Chamdia        
2. Mr. Moin M. Fudda
3. Ms. Naz Khan
4. Mr. Hussain Lawai
5. Mr. Sulaiman Sadruddin Mehdi
6. Mr. Syed Masoud Ali Naqvi
7. Mr. Amjad Pervez

The Following Directors shall stand retired

1. Mr. Shazad G. Dada
2. Mr. Moin M. Fudda
3. Mr. Tawfiq A. Hussain
4. Mr. Muneer Kamal
5. Mr. Muhammad Naeem

Mr. Moin M. Fudda, who served as SECP-nominated director on the board of PSX during previous term has been reappointed as independent director.
