December 10, 2024 (MLN): Sazgar Engineering Works Limited (PSX: SAZEW) witnessed a substantial drop of 41.72% in the sale of four-wheel off-road and passenger vehicles in November 2024, with 584 units sold compared to the topline of 1,002 vehicles in the previous month, company’s filing on PSX revealed today.
Concerning production, the company made 993 units of cars in November, compared to 1,008 units produced during October 2024, reflecting a meager 1.49% drop.
The yearly metrics comparison indicates a 117.1% increase in sales compared to 269 units sold in November 2023.
Similarly, production also increased by 190.35% in November 2024 as in the same month last year, SAZEW was able to manufacture 342 units.
In addition to the four-wheelers, the company sold 1,976 auto rickshaws, 17.7% lower than the topline of 2,401 units recorded in the previous month.
The production of the three-wheelers clocked in at 2,152 units, down 14.6% MoM.
Comparison on a yearly basis shows that the sale of three-wheelers surged by 155.63%, while production was recorded at 153.77% higher.
