Sazgar Autos witness highest decline in sales of three wheelers: PAMA

November 14, 2018 (MLN): The sale of motor bikes and three wheelers during the month of October has decreased by 4.7% as 158,196 units were sold compared to the sale of 166,001 units in the same month last year.

According to the report issued by Pakistan Automotive Manufacturing Association (PAMA), Honda sold the highest number of bikes amongst its competitors, however, its sales increased by only 16.8%, from 92,207 units sold in October last year to 107,669 units in October this year. 

United Auto Motorcycle sold 41,308 units in October as compared to 37,951 units during the same period last year, exhibiting an increase of 8.8%.

The sale of Yamaha motorcycles also increased to 2,121 units in October 2018 from 1,764 units in same period of previous year, thus registering an increase of 20.2%.

Similarly, sale of Suzuki bikes also witnessed an increase of 30.9% as it increased to 2,305 units in October 2018 from 1,761 units in same period of previous year.

Sale of Sazgar Three Wheeler went down to 984 units this year against sale of 2,304 units in same period of previous year, posting a decrease of 57.3%. 

Qinqi three wheelers' sale also posted a decrease of 21.6% as it dropped to 2,055 units compared to 2,622 units last year.
