September 11, 2020: President Dr. Arif Alvi has emphasized the need for promotion of environment friendly alternative sources of energy in the country.

Addressing a ceremony in Karachi, he said alternative sources for power generation are cost effective as well as environment friendly.

Meanwhile, chairing a meeting of Sindh Infrastructure Development Company to review its ongoing projects, the President said Karachi is commercial hub of the country and its development is extremely important.

He said it is because of this realization that the government is according top priority to quality and public friendly infrastructure development in the metropolis.

On the occasion, the President was briefed about the Green Line Bus Project and envisaged upgradation of Karachi Municipal Corporation.
