PPL’s profits up by 3.8% to Rs54.35 billion in FY22

September 20, 2022 (MLN): Pakistan Petroleum Limited (PPL) announced results for FY22, wherein the company’s profit was up by 3.8% to Rs54.35 bn, the company’s stock filings on the stock exchange showed.

In the filing, the company posted a profit after taxation (PAT) of Rs534.35bn up by 3.8% against the Rs52.28bn in FY21, translating into earnings per share (EPS) of Rs19.98 against Rs19.21 in FY21.

The top line of the PPL jumped to 26.76%, to Rs203 bn against Rs149bn in FY21. Gross profit up by 34.65%, to Rs132bn against Rs86 bn in FY21.

In FY22, profit before taxation (PBT) is up by 30.83%, to Rs99 bn against Rs68 bn in FY21.

Alongside financial results, the company announced a cash dividend of Rs0.50 per share which is 15% on ordinary shares and Rs 0.50 on preferred shares.
