PMEX Index sheds 125 points to close at 3,354-mark

April 28, 2020: PMEX Commodity Index lost 125 points on Monday i.e. 3.59% lower than the previous closing and settled at 3,354-level. The traded value of Metals, Energy and COTS/FX was recorded at PKR 4.076 billion and the number of lots traded was 11,804.

The major business was contributed by Gold amounting to PKR 2.502 billion, followed by Crude Oil (PKR 562.032 million), Currencies through COTS (PKR 229.814 million), DJ (PKR 222.336 million), Silver (PKR 183.734 million), NSDQ 100 (PKR 151.654 million), Natural Gas (PKR 133.381 million), SP500 (PKR 75.804 million), Platinum (PKR 14.396 million) and Copper (PKR 0.755 million).
