PMEX Commodity Index loses 29 points to 4,240-level

June 04, 2020: On Wednesday at Pakistan Mercantile Exchange Limited, PMEX Commodity Index failed to maintain the momentum and lost 29 points to close at 4,240-mark. The traded value of Metals, Energy and COTS/FX was recorded at PKR 6.480 billion and the number of lots traded was 10,810.

The major business was contributed by Gold amounting to PKR 3.004 billion, followed by Currencies through COTS (PKR 1.971 billion), Silver (PKR 429.536 million), Crude Oil (PKR 389.874 million), NSDQ 100 (PKR 136.811 million), Natural Gas (PKR 178.854 million), DJ (PKR 124.417 million), Platinum (PKR 124.400 million), SP500 (PKR 111.446 million) and Copper (PKR 9.010 million).

In agriculture commodities, one lot of Soybean amounting to PKR 7.031 million and 5 lots of Cotton amounting to PKR 2.474 million were traded.
