PMEX Commodity Index down by 120 points to settle at 3724 level

March 13, 2020: On Thursday at Pakistan Mercantile Exchange Limited, PMEX Commodity Index lost 120 points to close at 3,724 level. The traded value of Metals, Energy and COTS/FX was recorded at PKR 10.870 billion and the number of lots traded was 11,906.

The major business was contributed by Gold amounting to PKR 5.588 billion, followed by NSDQ100 (PKR 1.628 billion), Crude Oil (PKR 991.263 million), DJ (PKR 846.106 million), Currencies through COTS (PKR 565.196 million), Platinum (PKR 466.553 million), Silver (PKR 436.014 million), Brent Crude Oil (PKR 142.259 million), SP500 (PKR 124.323 million), Copper (PKR 72.575 million) and Natural Gas (PKR 9.225 million).

In agriculture commodities, 2 lots of Wheat amounting to PKR 7.986 million, one lot of Soybean amounting to PKR 6.850 million and one lot of Cotton amounting to PKR 0.477 million were traded.
