February 22, 2021 (MLN): Pakistani rupee (PKR) closed today's trading session relatively unchanged against the USD with the rate remaing stable at PKR 159.07

The rupee traded within a very narrow range of 19 paisa per USD showing an intraday high bid of 159.23 and an intraday Low offer of 159.08.

Within the Open Market, PKR was traded at 156.00/159.70 per USD.

Alternatively, the currency lost 14 paisa to the Pound Sterling as the day's closing quote stood at PKR 222.65 per GBP, while the previous session closed at PKR 222.5 per GBP.

On the other hand, PKR's value strengthened by 52 paisa against EUR which closed at PKR 192.44 at the interbank today.

On another note, within the money market, the overnight repo rate and  the 1 week rate towards close of the session were 7.00/7.05 percent.
