PKR loses over one rupee against USD

April 05, 2023 (MLN): After hitting an all-time new low at 287.29 per USD in the previous session, the Pakistani rupee (PKR) continued to fall during intraday trade on Wednesday, losing 1.21 rupees mainly due to prevailing uncertainty on the economic front.

The dollar was quoted at 288.49/ 288.74 (11:57 PST) with the trades being reported at PKR 288.50 per USD.

In the open market, the PKR is being traded at 290/293 per USD.
