May 06, 2019 (MLN): Pakistani rupee (PKR) appreciated by nearly 3 paisa against US Dollar (USD) at today's interbank session as the currency closed the day's trade at PKR 141.29 per USD, against previous session's closing of PKR 141.32 per USD.

Meanwhile, the currency lost 1.48 rupees against Pound Sterling as the day's closing quote stood at PKR 185.23 per GBP, while the previous session closed at PKR 183.75 per GBP.

Similarly, PKR's value weakened by 47 paisa against EUR which closed at PKR 158 at the interbank today.

Within the Open Markets, PKR was traded at 140.40/142.00 per USD.

The overnight repo rate towards close of the session was 10.60/10.70 percent, whereas the 1 week rate was 10.40/10.70 percent.
