Petrol prices to go up by Rs4.20 per litre for next two weeks

June 14, 2021 (MLN): The Government is likely to review petrol prices for the next two weeks, as the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has sent a summary to the Petroleum Division.

As per the sources, the authority has recommended an increase in the price of petrol by Rs4.20 and an increase in the price of diesel by Rs3.50 per litre.

The current levy on petrol is Rs4.80 per litre while the current levy on diesel is Rs5.14 per litre.

The Petroleum levy on Petrol and diesel are expected to remain unchanged following the working on petroleum products for a new fortnight, sources said.
