Pakistan’s Yearly Inflation at 2.91 Percent in July

Pakistan's Yearly inflation (CPI) in July was 2.91% compared to 3.93% from June 2017 and 4.12% from July 2016.

The inflation figure was slightly higher than Analysts expectation of 2.70 to 2.80 percent.

The central Bank, in its latest monetary policy statement, has projected average CPI inflation in the range of 4.5 – 5.5 percent in FY18 based on lower than anticipated increase in international oil prices, stable administered prices and lower inflationary expectations.
