March 04, 2021 (MLN): Pakistani rupee (PKR) closed today's trading session relatively unchanged against the USD with the rate remaing stable at PKR 157.16

The rupee traded within a range of 42 paisa per USD showing an intraday high bid of 157.45 and an intraday Low offer of 157.08.

Within the Open Market, PKR was traded at 157.20/157.80 per USD.

Alternatively, the currency gained 45 paisa against the Pound Sterling as the day's closing quote stood at PKR 219.04 per GBP, while the previous session closed at PKR 219.49 per GBP.

Similarly, PKR's value strengthened by 50 paisa against EUR which closed at PKR 189.25 at the interbank today.

On another note, within the money market, the overnight repo rate towards close of the session was 6.10/6.25 percent, whereas the 1 week rate was 6.90/6.95 percent.
