July 07, 2022: Pakistan-Turkmenistan joint working group is vital for the promotion of the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) sector.
This was said by Federal Minister for IT and Telecommunication Syed Aminul Haque while talking to Ambassador of Turkmenistan to Pakistan, Atadjan Movlamov, yesterday.
The talks were based on the purpose to establish good relations between both countries. He mentioned about the role of tripartite cooperation can be enhanced by using an optical fibre cable en route to Afghanistan.
Moreover, Syed Amin Ul Haque said that Turkmenistan’s market can be of great use for Pakistani freelancers in terms of expert services in Software, cybersecurity, data protection, gaming, and animation and thus Pakistan can be used as a digital gateway for international access. Both the ambassadors praised the powerful and long-term relations between the two countries
He also lauded the performance of the Ministry of IT and Telecommunication. The meeting was also attended by senior officers of the Ministry.
