July 9, 2019: Pakistan Post, after taking revolutionary steps, has become the most profitable public department this year by increasing its revenue by 116 percent as compared to the Fiscal Year 2017/18.

Deputy Chief Account Officer Revenue, Awais Ahmed has said that in order to meet the challenges of the new era, the department took new steps and earned about Rs. 14.5 billion this year, marking the highest profitability in all public departments.

However, a disputed amount of Rs. 6 billion is yet to be recovered from previous years and if the matter lands in favor of Post Office, then huge amount would be added to its revenue.
