December 04, 2021 (MLN): Foreign Secretary Sohail Mahmood on Friday said that Pakistan is committed to implementing the 27 International Conventions covered under the preferential trade scheme, a press release issued by the Associated Press of Pakistan (APP) showed.

While speaking at the 7th Round of Pakistan-EU Political Dialogue, he informed the EU side of the new legislative proposals of the European Commission relating to the Generalized System of Preferences – Plus (GSP Plus)

The two sides are closely engaged through high-level interactions and increasing collaboration on matters of common interest under the framework of the Pakistan-EU Strategic Engagement Plan, he said.

Foreign Secretary extended an invitation to Deputy Secretary-General Mora to undertake a visit to Pakistan at his earliest convenience.
