Pak Suzuki drops car prices of all variants by up to Rs199,000

August 16, 2022 (MLN): In the backdrop of PKR appreciation against the US dollar, Pak Suzuki Motor Company (PSX: PSMC) declined the prices of all its variants by up to Rs 199,000 on Tuesday.

As per the company's notice, after a reduction of Rs90,000, Rs103,000 and Rs116,000 the Alto VX, Alto VXR and Alto AGS are now available at Rs1,699,000, Rs1,976,000 and Rs2,223,000, respectively.

Meanwhile, Wagon R VXR, Wagon R VXL, and Wagon R AGS have observed a decrease of Rs128,000, Rs135,000, and Rs147,000, taking the price to Rs2,421,000, Rs2,564,000 and Rs2,802,000, respectively.

Furthermore, Swift GL, Swift GL CVT and Swift GLX CVT are priced at Rs3,180,000, Rs3,420,000, and Rs3,760,000, after a cutback of Rs169,000, Rs179,000, and Rs199,000, respectively.

The new price of Bolan CARGO stood at Rs1,487,000 against the previous price of Rs1,566,000, down by Rs79,000.

Moreover, Bolan VAN is valued at Rs1500,000, witnessing a dip of Rs79,000 compared to the previous price of Rs1,579,000.

Ravi VX has observed a cut of Rs75,000, taking the rate to Rs1,424,000.

“The revised retail prices are inclusive of FED and Sales Tax and exclusive of Advance Income Tax,” the notice read.

The above prices are subject to change without any prior notice and prices at the time of delivery shall apply, it added.

To note, Indus Motor Company Limited (PSX: INDU) on Monday also reduced prices for all completely knocked down (CKD) variants following the rupee’s appreciation against the dollar.
