May 8, 2019 (MLN): The bears have resumed their conquest against the equity markets after a brief sigh and this time, it has left the KSE-100 index on the brink of diving below 35,000 points. The benchmark index has so far lost 511 points and is currently trading at 35,121 points.

E&P sector seems to be leading the siege as it has snatched around 108 points from the index. Following the pursuit are Fertilizer and Cement sectors, as they have collectively stripped off the index by 158 points.
