Oil prices falter in spite of supply cuts by major producers

January 11, 2019 (MLN): Oil prices tripped on Friday due to apprehensions regarding outlook of the global economy, even though, supply cuts by major producers provided cushion to the crude prices.

International Brent crude futures were at $61.55 per barrel at 0333 GMT, down by 0.2 percent, whereas U.S. West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude futures dropped 0.1 percent, to $52.52 per barrel.
