OGRA Recommends increase in Prices of Petroleum Products

Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority has proposed price increase of petroleum products from next month from Rs 1.20 liter to Rs 15.35 per liter. Ogra has sent the summary to the ministry of Petroleum for the approval.

According to an analyst price increase has been recommended after sharp increase in crude oil price. Crude oil price has increased sharply over the market speculation that the OPEC members meeting schedule for November 30 to meet in Vienna is likely cut the daily oil supplies.

  • Ogra proposes price increase of Rs 1.48 per liter in petrol price
  • After the approval petrol price from December 1, 2017 would be Rs 77.47 per liter
  • New price for hsd will be Rs 51.27 per liter
  • New price for kerosene oil and light diesel will be Rs 68.54 and Rs 62.15 per liter
  • Ogra recommends price increase of Rs 15.34 per liter and Rs 13.15 per liter
