National Savings, Ministry of Finance appoints Dar al Sharia Islamic Finance as Sharia Advisory

Sharia advisory will help launch and sell sharia complaints products. The proposed Islamic window, Rafa national savings, will aim to promote savings culture among public.

Dar Al Sharia Legal and Financial Consultancy (DAS) is a subsidiary of Dubai Islamic Bank’s (DIB) Shariah Consultancy and Advisory. DAS pioneers in complete Sharia advisory and consultancy services to all Islamic Finance segments: Islamic Banks, Islamic Finance (Islamic Window), Takaful Companies, Islamic Funds and Sukuk.

DAS was awarded Best Sharia Advisory Firm at the Mediterranean Awards for Global Excellence in Islamic Finance in 2011 and 2012 consecutively.

Rafa National Savings will have a dedicated sharia board comprising of local and international scholars. Funds raised from sharia complaint will be invested in project and development activities.

National savings has a current portfolio of over 3.5 trillion rupees
