According to a bourse filing, Mr. Amir Ali has been appointed as Deputy Chief Executive Officer (CEO) at Bank Islami Pakistan Limited with effect from June 06^th, 2018 or earlier subject to approval of the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) as CEO of the bank with effect from 1^st October, 2018.

Amir Ali will replace Mr. Hassan A. Bilgrami who had indicated to pursue other professional interests. Mr. Hassan A. Bilgrami, however, continue to remain as Adviser to the bank till December 31^st, 2018.

Mr. Hassan Bilgrami has been the President and CEO at Bank Islami Pakistan for more than 13 years. He also presided as the President of Institute of Cost and Management Accountants of Pakistan for three years.
