Mobile phones imports in the country have witnessed a phenomenal growth of 19.28 percent in first 11 months of 2017-18 as international smartphone manufacturers continue penetrating the local market.

According to the figures issued by Pakistan Bureau of Statistics, overall telecom imports saw an increase of over 11.77 percent during July-May 2017-18 as compared to same period of last year.
