KSE 100 sluggish during the first half

The first few hours at KSE – 100 Index on Tuesday July 17th 2018, reflects a resting state as the market has dipped by merely 24 points from yesterday's closing to reach 39,641 points, a decrease of 0.06% from the previous session’s closing.

The intraday high reached 39,918 point while the least was recorded at 39,551, presenting the market with bracket of 366 points travel within.

So far, 20.3 million shares have been traded in KSE – 100 Index whereas 35.4 million shares have been traded at the broader KSE all Share Index.

Cement, Paper & Board and Chemical remain amongst the top net gainer at KSE – 100’s session today, as of now. On the other hand Oil & Gas Exploration Companies, Oil & Gas Marketing Companies and Tobacco are the net losers.

At KSE All Share Index, Colgate-Palmolive Pakistan (increased by Rs.135), Jubilee Life Insurance Company Limited (increased by Rs.29.95) and Services Industries (increased by Rs.25) top the list of net gainers whereas Phillip Morris Pakistan (decreased by Rs.137.27) and Pakistan Tobacco Company (decreased by Rs.27.5) are the net losers.

Volume at KSE is being led by Siddiqsons Tin Plate with 2.8 million shared traded during the initial hours of the session.
