KSE – 100 finally broke the streak in this week after closing the index positive for a continuous 13 sessions. The index succumbed to profit taking at the hand of investors as it has gained around 5000 points during the last two and a half weeks.
Sector-wise all share index turnover was led by Technology & Communication (44.952 million), Cable & Electrical Goods (17.706 million), and Oil & Gas Marketing Companies (17.308 million) with Chemical (11.363 million) and Inv. Cos./Banks/Securities Cos. (8.598 million) stocks trailing at the bottom.
KSE-100 Index at the day end moved a total of -297.78 points down by -0.69%, closing in at 42814.34 points with index high-low range of 43251.40 – 42566.51.
KSE – All Share Index Volume was at 225.264 million shares, value of shares traded for all-shares index reached PKR 9.748 billion.
The index movement was limited within the 684.89 points range.
23 companies closed up, whereas 66 were down at the day end.
