September 28, 2022 (MLN): KSE-100 opened on a positive note and gained to make an intraday high of 41,820.95 points but soon came under selling pressure and closed at 41,435.13 points down by 0.20%.
By the session’s end, the total volumes of the KSE-100 index stood at 105 million shares, down 15% from 125mn shares traded in Tuesday’s session.
In terms of sectors, most of the negative contributor were the technology sector, fertilizer, and oil & gas exploration which negatively contributed 112.07 points. On the flip side, the power gencos closed the session positive, gaining 13.26 points by the day’s end
Meanwhile, the volume leaders on the benchmark index were CYNERGY (17.89mn), KEL (9.73mn), TRG (8.77mn), SNGP (8.03mn), and UNITY (5.06mn).
The stocks that emerged as net losers during the day included: MARI (2.20%), IBFL (7.74%), INDU (1.08%), SYS (1.84%), and HINOON (1.32%). On the other hand, the scrips which gained the most during the session included NESTLE (1.75%), COLG (1.76%), MUREB (4.59%), PAKT (1.74%), and ARPL (1.50%).
