The KSE 100 index which had been positive for the last three days has taken slight dip today and remained volatile.

Adding to that, the individual script performed mix following their respective announcement of issue of 20.195 percent rights at par of Pakistan Int. Bulk Terminal (PIBTL).

Volume traded at KSE –100 index decreased by 6.93 percent during the session after total volume clocked in at 90.465 million versus 96.630 million yesterday.

Cement, Fertilizer, E&P and OMC Companies during today’s session was at the Bottom today after collectively contributing more than 105.15 points.

Sector-wise all share index top sector turnover was led by Cement (17.603 million), Commercial Banks (22.122 million), and Technology and Communication (13.291 million).

KSE – 100 Index at the day end moved a total of -86.95 points down by -0.21 percent, closing in at 41,910.90 with index high – low range of 42,081.88 – 41,750.01

KSE – All Share Index Volume was at 165.197 million shares, the value of shares traded for all-shares index reached PKR 6.043 billion.

The index moved in the range of 331.87 points.

39 companies closed up, whereas 50 were down at the day end.
