KSE – 100 Index today continued on its yesterday’s bullish run after losing more than 103 points at day end. The index faced selling pressures today after commercial scrips were the top laggards at the outset of the session.
Auto sector drove the sentiments on the back of growth in Auto numbers for the previous month. E&P sector also performed due to increase in international crude oil prices
Volume traded at KSE – 100 index decreased by 25.61 percent during the session after total volume clocked in at 74.780 million versus 100.525 million yesterday.
Commercial Banks, Chemical, and Cement scrips during today’s session were at the bottom after collectively taking away more than 165 points.
Sector-wise all share index top ten sector turnover was led by Chemical (57.387 million), Technology & Communication (18.457 million), and Cement (16.539 million) with Commercial Banks (6.960 million) and Engineering (63934 million) stocks trailing at the bottom.
KSE – 100 Index at the day end moved a total of 103.89 points down 0.22 percent, closing in at 46476.73 points with index high – low range of 46679.69 – 46407.10.
KSE – All Share Index Volume was at 219.570 million shares, the value of shares traded for all-shares index reached PKR 7.981 billion.

The index moved in the range of 272.59 points.
