KSE – 100 Index today closed the session down 431.55 points red after closing the session at 41869.65 level. The index succumbed to selling pressure yet again amidst declining volumes.
Volumes during the day stooped to 50 day lows today. Today marks the 13th consecutive session since index closed the session in red. KSE 100 Index since 6th of April, 2018 has lost more than 4767 points; a decline of more than 10 percent.
Volume traded at KSE – 100 index declined by 15.60 percent during the session after total volume clocked in at 33.403 million versus 39.580 million yesterday.
Sector-wise all share index top sector turnover was led by Cement (8.1462 million), Cable & Electrical Goods (7.350 million), and Power Generation & Distribution (5.350 million).
KSE – 100 Index at the day end moved a total of -431.55 points down 1.02 percent, closing in at 41869.65 with index high – low range of 42301.20 – 41833.60.
KSE – All Share Index Volume was at 56.937 million shares, the value of shares traded for all-shares index reached PKR 2.615 billion.
The index moved in the range of 467.60 points.
