May 30, 2020 (MLN): The government is likely to set revenue collection target of Rs 5.1 trillion for the fiscal year 2020-21.

Inflation target for the next fiscal year is expected to be set at around 8.4 percent.

Meanwhile, Current account deficit target is likely to set at USD 4.6 billion, while Fiscal deficit to set at 5.8 percent respectively.

Furthermore, the government is also expected to allocate Rs 1.4 trillion for Defence, whereas, Rs 495 billion is likely to spend on running government offices in FY21.
