Gold value falls by Rs2,250 to Rs104,450 per tola

March 12, 2021 (MLN): Gold edged lower today in the domestic bullion market as the price of 24 karat per tola gold plummeted by Rs 2,250 and was sold at Rs104,450 against its sale at Rs106,700, 

reported yesterday.

According to Karachi Sarafa Association, the price of 10-gram 24 karat gold also nosedived by Rs1,928 and was traded at Rs89,550 against Rs91,478 while that of 10-gram 22 karat gold decreased to Rs 82,087 from Rs 83,855.

On a similar note, the price of per tola silver also suffered a fall of Rs30 and was sold at Rs1,340 against its sale at Rs1,370 whereas that of and 10-gram silver decreased by Rs25.72 and was traded at Rs1,148.83 against Rs 1174.55. 

The gold price in the international market witnessed a decline of $32 and was available at $1,704 an ounce against its sale at $1,736 an ounce, while silver was valued at Rs25.60, the association reported.
